Spartan Internships
Our Internship Program offers undergraduate students an exciting opportunity to explore the many career opportunities within Spartan. At Spartan, we are committed to providing students with abundant experiences where they will learn new skills and take on meaningful value added projects. Students will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with our experienced staff in a team environment on real-world projects. In addition, students will learn about our Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives and how the Spartan Team works together to achieve “success.”
Internship Eligibility
- U.S. Citizen, permanent resident status or valid eligibility paperwork to work in the U.S.
- Must have been enrolled as a full-time student during the current school year
- Must have a GPA of at least 2.5
- Be available to work fulltime for at least 8 weeks during the summer or current quarter
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Length of Internship Program
Internships are scheduled for a period of 8-12 weeks. During the summer, the program period begins May 15 and ends August 31. During a school year quarter or semester, the program will begin and end when the quarter or semester that the student has applied for ends.
I enjoyed being able to work on all levels of my assignments. I was able to design, purchase, construct and implement tools and other elements in the factory.
