Sophia Luan joined Spartan Light Metal Products as Director of Supply Chain in August 2022. In her role, she leads her team in managing vendor sourcing, material procurement, capital expenditures, and supplier quality. Sophia is dedicated to building strong, long-term supplier relationships and developing strategies that create a competitive edge for Spartan and its customers.

With over 25 years of experience in supply chain management, Sophia brings extensive expertise in high-level negotiations, change management, cross-functional collaboration, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Her work focuses on enhancing company competitiveness, increasing profitability, and improving the overall customer experience.

Prior to joining Spartan, Sophia served as Director of Global Sourcing and Procurement at Huttig Building Products, where she managed international procurement, logistics, and trade compliance for over 20 distribution centers and both national and regional customer accounts.

Sophia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Trade from Changchun University and an Executive Master of International Business from Saint Louis University.
