Ted Waltemate joined Spartan in 2002 and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing operations at the Mexico, Missouri facility. With a career spanning over two decades, Ted began in various engineering roles, accumulating expertise in quality control, product launch, and program management. His transition into operations saw him excel as a Manufacturing Team Leader and later as the Machining and Assembly Operations Manager. Prior to assuming his current role, Ted served as Operations Support Manager.

Throughout his tenure in engineering and manufacturing, Ted has amassed extensive knowledge across all facets of plant operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where he also completed internships over three summers before commencing his full-time career with Spartan.
