Tina Spelman joined the Spartan Human Resources team in April 2021 and was promoted to Vice President Human Resources effective January 2024. Tina is responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officer and Executive leadership team with developing, implementing, communicating, and executing Spartan’s strategic plan for Human Resources. Tina’s successful track record of Human Resources leadership for complex organizations is beneficial as we continue to develop and implement programs and strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent to achieve our objectives.
Tina’s professional profile is a fusion of more than 20 years of experience in employee management/supervision with more than 15 years focused in Human Resources and 10 years in manufacturing environments. Before joining Spartan, Tina had experience and a demonstrated track record in leading Human Resources across multi-site manufacturing facilities at General Aluminum Manufacturing Company (A Division of Park Ohio).
Tina earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Kent State University and earned her MBA in Human Resources Management and Operations Management in 2022 from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership & Success (NSLS), and obtained her Human Resources certification from the Society of Human Resources Management in 2015
